Carbon Neutrality
We'll be installing rooftop solar panels at our New Jersey headquarters, which will provide 100% of Coronet's power.
We'll continue to use the best available technology to produce the most energy-efficient fixtures possible.
In 2019, we completed the process of becoming a certified CarbonNeutral® company in accordance with The CarbonNeutral Protocol. In 2025 our emissions are offset to net zero through the following project which is validated and verified by independent, third party standards: Guanare Afforestation, Uruguay
Our commitment to circular design begins with material selection, favoring components that are recyclable, responsibly sourced, and low in embodied carbon. By prioritizing efficacy, long product lifespans, modularity, and ease of disassembly, our luminaires are engineered for minimal waste and environmental impact.
100% of the ingredients of our flagship products
have been disclosed to the International Living Future
Institute and are LBC Declared.
The Living Building Challange (LBC) Red List represents the “worst in class” materials, chemicals and elements known to pose serious risks to human health and the greater ecosystem that are prevalent in the building products industry. Nearly all of our declare listed products are available with optional Red List Free construction.

In support of Circularity, our products are modular, Red List Free–optional, and compatible with established recycling and recovery channels. When removed from service, we recommend that our products be disassembled and recycled according to local material recovery guidelines to ensure responsible end-of-life handling. Whenever possible, aluminum housings, electronic components, and plastic lenses should be sorted and directed to certified recycling facilities. This approach helps reduce landfill waste, lowers embodied carbon, and supports the material reuse goals of LEED and the Living Building Challenge.
Conserving and sustainably managing biodiversity is critical to addressing climate change.
Through our annual contributions to carbon offsetting projects and Rainforest trust we have helped protect over 350,000 acres of rainforest.
