Carbon Neutrality

To us, this is just the beginning…

Russell Osur, Design Director/CEO

Coronet’s goal has always been to do what’s right when it comes to sustainability.

We’re committed to taking even more action on our social responsibilities. In 2019, we formally made significant steps to integrate our efforts.

We'll be installing rooftop solar panels at our New Jersey headquarters, which will provide 100% of Coronet's power.

We'll continue to use the best available technology to produce the most energy-efficient fixtures possible.

Carbon footprint

In 2019, we completed the process of becoming a certified CarbonNeutral® company in accordance with The CarbonNeutral Protocol. In 2024 our emissions are offset to net zero through the following project which is validated and verified by independent, third party standards:

Amayo Wind Power Project, Nicaragua

  • Our aluminum extrusions are comprised of 80% recycled material. Our goal is to increase this to 95% by 2025.
  • We will continue to use 100% recycled materials in all boxing.

Conservation

Conserving and sustainably managing biodiversity is critical to addressing climate change.

Through our annual contributions to carbon offsetting projects and Rainforest trust we have helped protect over 350,000 acres of rainforest.

We are committed to continuing to innovate solutions in our products, processes, and work environments to achieve our sustainability goals.
