Carbon Neutrality

To us, this is just the beginning…

Russell Osur, Design Director/CEO

Coronet’s goal has always been to do what’s right when it comes to sustainability.

We’re committed to taking even more action on our social responsibilities. Last year, we formally made significant steps to integrate our efforts.

We'll be installing rooftop solar panels at our New Jersey headquarters, which will provide 100% of Coronet's power.

We'll continue to use the best available technology to produce the most energy-efficient fixtures possible.

Carbon footprint

In 2019, we completed the process of becoming a certified CarbonNeutral® company in accordance with The CarbonNeutral Protocol. In 2021 our emissions are offset to net zero through the following projects which are validated and verified by independent, third party standards:

Seneca Meadows Landfill Gas, USA; Teak Afforestation, Mexico

  • Coronet currently uses 90% recycled aluminum that makes up 100% of our products. Our goal is to increase this to 95% by 2021.
  • We will continue to use 100% recycled materials in all boxing.

Conserving and sustainably managing biodiversity is critical to addressing climate change.

This year, as Conservation Circle members, we’re helping protect 19,230 acres of the Monarch Corridor and keeping approximately 600,000 metric tons of CO2e safely stored.

We are committed to continuing to innovate solutions in our products, processes, and work environments to achieve our sustainability goals.
